Rhondda Stewart - Principal Australian College of Hypnotherapy was founded by Rhondda Stewart, one of Australia’s leading Hypnotherapists. The College bases it's work on Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Principles as pioneered by Milton Erickson, who was a central figure in the foundation of both Clinical Hypnotherapy techniques and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).   It has continued to develop a Naturalistic style of Hypnosis which is influenced by the work of Dr. Stephen Gilligan.  ACH offers education in all areas of Clinical Hypnotherapy, alongside the Ericksonian and Naturalistic Models we teach the most successful and up to date designs of Analytical Hypnosis reflecting the work of such people as Edgar Barnett, Dave Elman, Michael Yapko and Ernst Rossi.   Our Certificate IV in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which is a  Practitioner Certification  contains all the elements of waking state hypnosis, naturalistic NLP, Old and New Code designs and is a comprehensive NLP training program NLP was co-created by Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder in the 1970s, the initial focus was to discover what made three psychotherapists, gestalt therapist Fritz Perls, family therapist Virginia Satir and founding president of the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis, Milton H. Erickson, more successful than their peers.   What  Bandler and Grinder did was to apply their separate disciplines to the psychological counseling techniques of Fitz Perls, Virginia Satir and Milton Erickson. For those not in the know, Fitz, Virginia and Erickson are absolute Titans in the field of talk therapy. The ultimate outcome of Bandler and Grinder’s efforts is that they were able to identify and quantify the specific patterns present in the practices of Perls, Satir and Erickson. Arguably for the first time, the mastery of psychological counseling was revealed in a very exacting and distinct series of concrete processes which you will learn through ACH.
